Once you have a clear idea of what you want to achieve, you and your physio or trainer can start to tailor your workouts accordingly.

Don’t try to do too much too soon. If you’ve been sedentary for a while, jumping into a high-intensity workout can be overwhelming and potentially harmful if you are returning after an injury. Your physio can help tailor it specifically to you but it might look like light cardio or resistance training and gradually increase the intensity over time.

Your physio will take the time to help you learn the correct form for each exercise and then it’s up to you to practice it consistently.
