During your session, your maternal health physio may use a variety of treatment methods to help reduce your pain, such as;

- Strategies to help you manage breastfeeding postures
- Prescription of supports and braces (eg Postnatal Recovery Pants (eg SRC), wrist braces, posture braces)

Our physiotherapists regularly undertake further education and training in maternal health conditions.
We do not conduct internal pelvic floor examinations. We have a network of pelvic floor specialists in Adelaide who we refer to for internal pelvic floor examinations when required.
This may result in a transfer of care, or co-treating where appropriate.
