What you can expect from us
The physiotherapy profession has changed in several years with some physiotherapists not providing any hands on treatment in their consults. At Phyx., we believe a combination of hands on treatment + movement therapy (exercising with us or your own things to do at home) is the best way to get results. We have decades of combined experience and have seen the importance of including hands on techniques like massage, needling, mobilisation etc to first, help you get out pain. We then add in what we call ‘self-management strategies’ (which is a fancy way of saying ‘things you can do at home’) to your sessions. Once you have completed your treatment with us, you can often self-manage at home so you don’t need to see us week in, week out forever. Some patients on the other hand prefer or require ‘maintenance’ tune-up treatments on a consistent basis and we service these patients too.
Our priority is getting the outcome you want, keeping you performing at your optimum and will provide you with the clarity and plan to get you there.
