FAQ's about the Mums & Bubs Class
It’s very common to experience urinary incontinence after giving birth and with the right exercises, this can be significantly reduced. During your post natal appointment, your physio will give you some basic info and exercises to help this. In some cases, your physiotherapist may recommend you see a women’s health specialist.
Nope! If you’re keen for some solo time, then go for it 😉
Some exercises, we may ask you hold your baby. This allows the physio to teach you correct technique when holding your baby which you can then use at home. However, not all exercises will involve holding your baby.
A mumma’s got to do what a mumma’s got to do 😝 If your baby is unsettled, you can do what you like to settle them. FYI – our physios are always up for a cuddle. If bubs doesn’t want to be put down, we can give you exercises you can do while holding them.
For some babies, class time may coincide with their usual sleep time, and that’s okay. Bring along your pram for baby to sleep beside you.
